Grant is a musician, musical director, and producer that splits time between New York and Los Angeles. After graduating Cum Laude from Hamilton College with a BA in Philosophy, Grant moved to Brooklyn to pursue performance and touring. He began touring in 2009 with Argentinian indie rock outfit Contramano. He would go on to tour and record with other indie artists such as Tim Noyes (Handsome Ghost), Hockey, Linfinity, Rathborne, and Cymbals Eat Guitars, while continuing to be an active performer and session player in New York. Grant would then begin playing bass and keyboards for New York based dreampop duo MS MR as well as Swedish based singer Nina Persson of seminal alt rock band the Cardigans. It was from there that Grant began stepping into the role of Musical Director with acts such as Verite, Phoebe Ryan, and Jaymes Young. Grant began working with Maggie Rogers as her Music Director and touring bassist in 2016. He currently performs with Nick Murphy (Chet Faker) as his multi-instrumentalist (Keyboards, Saxophone, Guitar).
